Vadoadara, 20.12.2006, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.-1, Harni Road, Baroda organized “The Pratham Sopan Testing Camp 2006” in a very grand manner. Scout Master Sri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Convener of this camp for Scouts & Guides organized the Camp. The Chief Guest, worthy Principal Shri R. V. Pandey was honoured by offering bouquet, B.S.&G. scarf and cap. The Chief Guest hoisted the scout flag. The scout flag song was sung. The scouts & guides did clapping activities and formation of pyramids.

In the inaugural speech, The Chief Guest said that Scout movement really promotes the healthy attitude & good manners, kindness & self-realization habits in the children. The Chief Guest also motivated the students by the marvellous speech about the importance of Scout and Guide Movement. The scouts participated enthusiastically in all programmes with taking oath and rules. They also demonstrated scout pyramids, yoga, yell and clapping activities. Shri S. K Katole (Advisor) & Shri Dipesh R Vora (Cub Master) contributed their outstanding support for this camp. Troop Leader Deep Dwivedi of class IX B presented an impressive speech about Lord Baden Powell’s Life & Achievements for B.S.&G. Movement. The Patrol Leaders, Scouts & Guides performed the community service and cleanliness activities. The Scouts & Guides also enjoyed the excellent refreshment though Vidyalaya. In evening of this day The Chief Guest declared the campfire open and several cultural programmes were presented. The function came to an end with vote of thanks.
